At The Reception (Kiersten Holden-Ada, Zak Miller-Ada, Michael D. McCormack) led the workshop, "Radio Relay" on Friday August 11th that began at The Tool Library! It began with some background into the history of FM Radio and then each participant was given a package of components to build their very own FM transmitter. While building their transmitters, they also participated in recording a story that was pieced together using multiple transmitters located throughout downtown St. John's. The workshop concluded downtown with the story being broadcasted through the FM transmitters. It was a great experience to learn about the history and power of FM radio!
