Roundtable Residency 2017 (Theme: CARE)

            Deadline: May 7th 2017

In its fifth year, The Roundtable Residency continues its focus on fostering emerging artists. We encourage artists to create networks that will lead to an enriching experience, by working alongside the residency facilitators - as a means of peer-to-peer mentorship and community feedback - while developing distinct, well-rounded art projects throughout the course of the residency.

How do you define 'care'? Where does 'care' fit (or not fit) into your daily life? When you think about 'care' who or what comes to mind - yourself, others, community, the world at large? How does this affect the work you create? And in turn, consider as well how the work you create might affect those beyond your own practice. Consider how art might be the ultimate act of self-care and/or a way of connecting through 'caring'.
