Every artist has faced the fear that is created by a blank page. It's too clean, too perfect, and its possibilities are endless… almost too endless. The pressure to create a masterpiece, even in your sketchbook, feels very real. Creating a new piece of art is intimidating and it's hard don't know where to begin, a moment scary enough to stop us in our tracks more often than not.
We've forgotten how to experiment and play with a blank page, a process which can often leads us to our next great idea (instead of the other way around).
Let's take the pressure off, have some fun, and overcome this creative block once and for all!
This Blank Page Art Challenge invites you to fill a blank page every day.
The blank page can be big, small, fancy, or the back of a receipt. It can be filled with drawing, painting, writing, music, paper mache, or your grocery list (or all of the above).
We'll be participating right along side you and can't wait to see what you make! Feel free to join at any time or follow along.
